Yes, there are a lot of images with this post...but only
because underground band SALEM deserves it. First,
I'd definitely say they are one of my favorite bands ever. I haven't
heard a bad song from them yet and probably never will.
Hailing from Michigan, band members John, Heather, and Jack
started their own brand new genre "witch house".
Their music is full of magical mysterious distortion and combines
droned out chopped-n-screwed beats with gothic despair being smeared
all over its listeners: Perfect band for me. Plus, there clothing choices
and messy grunged-out hair makes it even more of a favorite for me.

Emotional Meltdown.

One of my favorite songs for the moment. Zola Jesus
is beyond phenomenal. Her haunting yet enchanting opera
trained voice hits all the right notes and there's something
empowering about her music, especially this song's lo-fi
almost demonic sound. Pure genius, enjoy.
