Helmut Lang Pre-Fall 11.

Helmut Lang has been one of my favorites for a
long time. This may be due to the easy thrown together
appeal of his beautifully tailored pants and jackets,
paired with the simple deconstructed draped skirts. There's
just something so magical about the harsh simplicity the label
always brings to the table.

The Shape of Things.

Designer Iris Van Herpen hails from the Netherlands
and we've been watching her rise to fashion originality
since spring 2009. Shown in Paris, her fall 2011 couture
collection built up creativity more than ever and keeps
us guessing what we're going to see next. The way she
distorts the female form is breath taking and her fabric
manipulating is truly jaw dropping.

Found this amazing accessory label, Mode en module recently
and have to admit they're pretty bomb ass. I can't ever get
over the raw vibe, which is presented here very well.

Vancouver based, Mandula is a label for those
people who want to be truly different. The DIY
approach to the clothing makes it even more interesting.
Whether it be the hand made wrinkled fabric, knotting,
ripped-to-shreds skirts, or even the raw leather pouches big enough
to fit your entire weekend into, Mandula's grimey approach is
one worth going for.
