Goldin's inspiration for this "space military"

themed collection were the futuristic ideas

of genius Pierre Cardin's designs in the 1960s.

Goldin's collection mixes space aged touches with

modern day sculptural aspects. Her designs may

seem too far fetched to wear everyday, but to me a lot

of the pieces could definitely work in a woman's wardrobe.

Hushed and Muted.

This bold collection is from designer Sally Lapointe Fall 2010.

Lots of muted grays, metallics, and blacks. Beautiful and futuristic,

any woman should jump on this collection, to die for.

When it's reppin' time.

The most influential picture out right now.
Karl Lagerfeld for March Bazaar. It reminds me
of me when i'm old. Still majorly tan, wearing clothes
that all look the same day in and day out, and still a hint
of bad ass.

The shape of things.

One thing comes to mind when you think of 80's

fashion, shoulder pads. Today, they are back

and bolder than ever. Let's face it, these aren't

your everyday power suit shoulder pads,

but boy do they look brilliant.

This video is titled "FrankenFashion." The fashions shown

are from avant garde designer Charlie Le Mindu, directed

by Alex Turvey. Kind of reminds me of envying somebody

but in the end, they really want to be just like that person.

It kind of has a robot in disguise feeling. Very powerful

and dramatic.
